In addition to my session availability at your studio, I can also bring your music to a new level with well-performed, well-captured raw drum and percussion recordings (up to 8 separate inputs/channels) from my own sound-treated, high-ceiling studio containing great gear (see MY EQUIPMENT below). My painstaking attention to rhythm, groove, phrasing, dynamics, texture, and implement choice is all to serve YOUR music. I’m definitely not new to session work. Since 1995, I’ve recorded tracks for demos, singles, EPs & albums, and TV/Radio commercials in Boston, Chicago, and beyond — while performing nationally & internationally for concerts, tours, and residencies. (see HOME, ABOUT, VIDEO & MUSIC pages).

And to you vocalists out there — If it’s a song, believe me, the last thing I want to do is step all over the singer’s vocals which contain so much of the meaning and emotion! I seek to create just the right envelope, to add nuance, punctuation, embrace the containment, amplify the releases, and deepen the musical conversation that each song is (or should be).
